Douglas County has over 43 developed day use parks to meet your recreational needs.  The parks are located all over the County and throughout the Umpqua River Watershed.  Whatever your recreational needs, we will have a park for you.

Pavilions

Douglas County Parks has 10 pavilions located throughout our day use park system. You can reserve a pavilion up to 11 months in advance. We recommend reserving early since they are usually reserved most days during the spring and summer.  Click the tab below to find out more about each pavilion. Please call 541-957-7001 to discuss the availability of our pavilions. 

Permits

We offer metal detection permits free of charge.  They are good for five (5) years. Here is the link to the Metal detection permit application . Then email the completed application to parks@co.douglas.or.us. You can also stop by our office to apply.
