Campgrounds
Douglas County Parks has 10 reservable campgrounds, 2 first come first serve camping areas and over 477 campsites to choose from. Each campground provides a unique recreational experience. Click the tabs below to learn more about our campground facilities. Click here for reservation rules.
You can make your reservations 3 days to 11 months in advance of your first night's stay. Online reservations are available 7 days a week, 365 days a year or you can call our office Monday - Friday 9:00am - 4:30pm.
Reservation Terms
- There is a $10 reservation fee charged for each site reserved whether you call or go online.
- You must be 18 or older to make a reservation. An adult must accompany minors at the site.
- Horse camping: Reservations and registrations for horse camping sites are only for people camping with their horses.

Cabins & Yurts
We use the terms “rustic” and “deluxe” to distinguish between simpler units (rustic) and larger, more elaborate units (deluxe). Probably the most important difference is that in all cases, “deluxe” units have kitchen facilities and a bathroom/shower. Because exact features and dimensions vary somewhat from park to park, please review the park for more information.
Note: No bedding, pots, plates, bowls, utensils, etc. are supplied.
Features include:
- Beds: some combination of bunk beds, futon couch or double bed
- Can be one (sleeps 4 to 5 people) or two rooms (5 to 6 people)
- Covered porch
- Electricity
- Heat Lights
- Locking door
- Outdoor fire pit and picnic table
- Table and chairs
